Vacation Bible School

     Our VBS will be held at church
during the week of June 18th - 22nd  from 9:00 - Noon
for children whose ages are four years - those entering fifth grade.  Our VBS will be lead by a team of Christian young adults called Covenant from our Lutheran Bible School located in Plymouth, Minnesota.  




       Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus - Venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive. Anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life's storms.  They will learn:

Day 1 - When you are lonely...Jesus rescues! Luke 15
Day 2 - When you worry...Jesus rescues! Luke 10
Day 3 - When you struggle...Jesus rescues! Luke 22
Day 4 - When you do wrong...Jesus rescues! Luke 23-24
Day 5 - When you are powerless...Jesus rescues! Acts 3

Theme:  "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us..."
There will be:

*Bible stories * Crafts * Games

* Music * Puppets * Snacks

   Your kids will also participate in supporting a mission called The Net in Naknek, Alaska.  It is a coffee house ministry for the thousands of seasonal workers in the area.  Donations are for baking over 100's of dozens of cookies.  The Net provides an opportunity for those traveling from all over the world to hear of Christ’s love through the Gospel. 

*Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy.  Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.
