Losing to Live is a faith based weight-loss competition. It was created because it is so hard for people to lose weight on their own efforts.  But with God's help and the encouragement of a group of like-minded weight losers, anyone can become healthier and live a full rich life.

The Losing to Live competition was created by Pastor Steve Reynolds, Senior Pastor of Capital Baptist Church in Annadale, VA (a suburb of Washington, DC).  He is the author of the book Bod4God.  After losing over 100 pounds of weight he was labeled "The Anti-Fat Pastor".

This is a weight-loss program that really works!  Vivian Hutson, a noted nutritionist, said "Bod4God has produced more sustainable weight-loss for its participants than any other program that I have been involved with in my twenty years as a dietitian."

Each participant is assigned to a team.  Team meetings once per week.  All participants have the same goal which is to fight against obesity as they compete with team members and other teams.  Participants are provided with the inspiration and information they need to lose weight.  This competition offers participants an opportunity to lose weight in a fun and supportive environment.

So, don't try and lose weight by yourself. Come and join a team of losers.

Cost:  $30 per person which includes a Participant Kit for Losing to Live Weight Loss Competion, Bod4God Book and Official T-shirt.

We will meet on Saturdays at 9 am.  There will be a walk (optional) at 8 am. We will walk for 40 minutes then have a light breakfast before beginning the class.  If you would like to participate in Losing to Live or would like more information e-mail Scott Schauer.

Fall Competition Dates:
Sept. 9, 2017 - December 2, 2017 (No meeting on November 25th)
